Eleanor (Elly) Cook has a passion for connecting people and making things happen. Together with her husband and son, she runs an Australian holistic beef enterprise on a property in NSW.
With a background in public relations, leadership and communications, Elly has experience in a range of sectors including: primary production, public service, small business, not-for-profit organisations, and volunteering. She also has a strong interest in creative arts and previously has curated and coordinated many exhibitions as the Chair of the local gallery and on the board of Orana Regional Arts. Elly is the founding coordinator and a director of the Coolah District Development Group, a voluntary managed not-for-profit group, which has over 20-year history of enhancing the region’s vitality by engaging with all levels of government to grow and develop the district.
She has proven herself as a versatile and successful leader in the delivery and implementation of solutions for economic, social and cultural development in rural communities.
As an authentic woman with instinctive insight, she facilitates change that makes a positive difference, using tools and building blocks of lived experience. This experience spans varied industries in urban and regional Australia, and includes operating across government, business, social enterprise, communities and boards.
